This construction technology is used more than ever these days for interior flooring. High-tech raised floors were created for the DPC rooms and computer centres linked to telecommunications in general. Lately, technology has made giant steps forward regarding the development of raised floor systems, becoming more and more versatile in their set-up and use. Floating floors were created to respond to the need of passing all the electrical, air-conditioning, heating and water installations through the cavity between the original floor and the lower side of the panel. |
| This solution gives considerable advantages at the planning stage since it allows the whole installation system to be streamlined. All the spaces are exploited in full and as many user points as necessary can be installed. As well, it is always possible to change these points around by a very simple manual operation, removing and placing them for use in other areas. In addition to these important advantages, the floor can be made completely antistatic, avoiding the accumulation of electrostatic charges thanks to the electrical continuity achieved through the metallic grid supporting the panels. |
